The Waitemata Pain Services are involved with ongoing audit and QA activities. The Department has a close relationship with AUT University on the North Shore in Auckland and share common research interests. 

They are also actively involved with teaching medical students trainee anaesthetists and pain specialists.At times we may ask permission for these trainees to take part in the consultation - but please remember they are always under supervision.
